They looked so animu and silly in the latter.ĪLSO RANT BELOW (about WW2 Japan and nationalism/ imperialism) I like their uniforms more and how serious and threatening their grunts were in the Original RSE compared to ORAS.
They made them more…cutesy? Especially with Team Magma. Personally, I don’t think the 3D look suits them. The latest pokemon games, even the reboot of Ruby and Sapphire (ORAS) just.didn’t meet up to my expectations. Gen 3 specifically Emerald, will always be my favourite because the Hoenn region is so beautiful and diverse coupled with the trumpets soundtrack to make it a soothing game to play, ehehe. I really miss the 2d sprites on Pokemon especially those from Gen 1- 4. They’re the ones funding my lifestyle there, lol.
Now I need to battle more trainers cuz I spent so much money on these, ORZ. I went to Lilycove to buy some cushions and Skitty dolls for this display here while the Wailmer doll was given to me for free at Sootopolis. It’s adorable how she inherited her Papa’s Water Pulse which is a strong Water-type move. I just can’t imagine how a whale pokemon can mate with a kitten pokemon… sexually. Maybe Pokemon have a different way of mating like probably some uh…signals on their heads like aliens or something. (Obviously, because I was disturbed by just hearing that phrase back then. I wanted to see for myself the “Hot Skitty on Wailord Action” as I never pulled that when I started playing Emerald years ago. ^ My Wailmer evolved into a Wailord after some training and with some rare candies and then I sent the two of them to the Pokemon Daycare 😀
I named them Ryou and Wailmariku, respectively, lol. With the Pokemon Emerald gameplay, I caught a Female Skitty and a Male Wailmer for my team. I’ve been spending my time working out, writing up for my dissertation, playing old pokemon games and surfing the net, getting pissy at some weabs on reddit. I want to draw and do more short comic strips but I’m so beat. So…I’m still tired from finishing Chapter 5.
